Dodger Stadium
I went there infrequently with Dad. Dad had tickets for the Brooklyn Dodgers. Well, actually GRX had tickets and sometimes there were extra tickets and he would take the kids. He had perfect seats on the third base line and you could tell that we were all tired, old people because they would do, the high rollers, the wave. And the wave would go all around the stadium and then it would come to us and it would just go by us because we were too blasé to wave. Also, I was impressed that I guess they paid for very special parking because you could park your car and walk just a very short distance to the stadium.
He took me once to see a Louis-Conn fight. It was in a stadium and I think it was this stadium. It was a huge deal. They had a raised ring set up there and chairs all around it and it was really a big thing to see that. I don’t recall much about the fight but I remember going; one of the few boxing matches I’ve ever been to.
