Getty Villa – I was there in June 2009. It’s been totally remodeled since I was there maybe ten years earlier. Very impressive amphitheatre; a lot more museum space; very well thought out. It’s free to get in and I think parking was free, too, but I’m not sure. Gorgeous place. Just shows lots of class. It has a great exhibit of old Roman, Greek and
Etruscan; things like that going way back. Very well done. Great experience. It’s hard to believe that Getty himself, I don’t think he was ever there. Maybe he was there once during the construction.
