1951. Wherry Housing. Wherry is a politician who carried the housing bill for bases. The contractor was Nickleson. Ferry and Van Valkinberg (Sp?). Nickleson did the houses. One of first use power Nailers. They were very large and were strapped to a man's leg and he walked around the roof.
Some of the housing is still there. The small housing to the north has all ben rebuilt
